Next stop on the way to Wall ND we stopped at this Prehistoric Indian Village site. We did not go to the archaeological dig area. Watched part of a video (we arrived after it had started) and I looked around inside the building.
What I understood from the video, the Indians’ fields were flooded to create a Dam for Lake Mitchell.
Then we were off to drive through the Badlands.
I am now the holder of a National Parks Recreational Lands Pass. Regular price to drive through Badlands is $20, BUT seniors can purchase a pass for $10 and it is good at ALL the national parks.
